The Daily Snap – Dec 7

This image for The Daily Snap was taken in October at Horseshoe Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Horseshoe Lake is one of my favorite spots in the Canadian Rockies. I love to visit on overcast days to get detailed images of the forest, rock cliffs and the lake. This place is like a mystical wonderland and I never fail to come away with ‘keepers’ from this location. This image was taken with my Canon G9 and it looks great as a 12 x16 enlargement.

I know it’s not terribly helpful as a comment, but really, all I have to say is – beautiful! :^D

  5. When I first glanced at this picture, I was wondering why you posted a Group of Seven painting. It’s even more amazing when viewed larger to see the detail. Excellent!
