For the last couple of days it has been dreary and grey but fortunately the trees have remained frosty. Photographic wisdom says,”when the sky is white, shoot tight”. I ignored this rule and went for a stark effect of the trees against the washed out sky (who needs detail in the sky?). I processed the image as a B+W and then added a blue tone. Always having the G11 in my pocket means I am free to break the rules whenever I want. What a rebel eh?
