The Canadian Landscape Contest – Mark Seabrook

This photograph was taken at “Tangle Falls” south of Jasper Alberta. I climbed up the multi level water fall and jumped out to some rocks to get a image that would feel like you may just be there with me. I wanted a feeling like you are looking up, way up, and feel the slight mist of the falls. The destination that the picture was taken from may have been hazardous (wet rocks and currents) but i believe that it was worth the looks and mumbles from the other tourists, “what is that guy doing?”. This picture resonates with me because it is adventurous, picturesque, and has a feeling of freedom in the free flow of the water.
