The Daily Snap – March 10

I love the G11 for its quick and easy macro mode making photos like this one a snap – literally. I probably would not dig out my big dSLR and a macro lens to snap this ice pattern–way too much work for something that may or may not be a good subject. But with the point-n-shoot, I can make a quick hand-held snap and then later decide if the photo is worth keeping. In the end I liked this little scene and decided to keep the image and share it.
