The Daily Snap – March 16

Let the melting begin!

It’s that time of year around here when all is brown and grungy and things do not look very attractive. This is a little puddle on the pathway that Brando and I came across on our walk. I like the weird reflection if the tree in the cracked heaved pavement

  1. Love this, Darwin. The tones, the composition, the texture, the subject. Very surreal. Well done.

  2. John Arnold Says:

I like it too! Especially the way that the reflections of the tree is of the same hue as the dead grass and the edge of the concrete appears to mirror some of the shapes in the tree. It’s always amazing to me how such mundane subject matter can transcend itself when seen and composed in a powerful way. Great job Darwin!

  3. The reflection really makes the photo so compelling. Wonderful.
