The Canadian Landscape Contest – Richard Bullough

The image was shot in the Bella Coola Valley, BC, Canada in the spring of 2007. It was captured using a 4×5 view camera, 75mm lens, on Velvia 100 film. It had been storming and everything was saturated with moisture, and color. The sky suddenly cleared and the color on these lupin was intense. This remains one of my favorite flower images and shows the lushness of that wonderful area in British Columbia.
