The Daily Snap – July 18

©Darwin Wiggett

This photo is from the archives and is a shot of the ‘Ksan historical village in Hazelton, BC. Whenever we travel and visit museums and tourist stops I take my point-n-shoot camera and do the rounds. Most of the time these places are only open from 9 to 5 and so you need to deal with harsh mid-day light. But nevertheless there is always something that looks good in the light you are given so it pays to always have a camera with you. Plus the little point-n-shoots do not make you look like a pro and you can shoot things without attracting attention. If I wanted to do serious photography I would make arrangements to get into the museum off hours and bring in the ‘real’ camera.

Good one! My mobile camera does the trick and really makes me “blend” in with the rest of the “tourist” crowd! 🙂
