Travel Photo Contest – Matthew A. Kok
Had it not been for a forgotten GPS, this photograph would not exist. A friend and I were making the road trip from Ontario to British Columbia through the American Mid-West. I provided the car and he was suppose to provide the GPS. Long story short, we ended up with a road atlas and a few wrong turns along the way. On one of our side adventures, we found ourselves dead-ended on a dusty road somewhere in South Dakota. Or Idaho. Wherever it was, we were apparently not the first to drive down that long-forgotten road. At the end, abandoned and alone sat this Chrysler, slowly decaying at the base of a tree.
