The Daily Snap – October 7

©Darwin Wiggett

I found this little scene when we were in Nordegg, Alberta on the 2010 Fall Colours in the Canadian Rockies tour. There was some roofing tile on the ground and a strawberry plan had sent its runner over the textured surface. As well, a balsam popular tree had shed a leaf that landed on the tile (I did not even have to place it there, it was perfectly positioned already). I grabbed the Canon G11 and made a quick macro shot. Back at home I ran the picture through Nik Color Efex pro and used the “Polaroid transfer’ setting to enhance the textures in the scene.
