This photo reminds me of a waterfall but this time the falls are a cascade of roots falling from an eroding bank.

The roots do indeed look like a mini falls. I really like the juxtaposition between the colors and the patterns. And also the 1/3 – 2/3 framing. An interesting, beautiful image!
I like the way you are photographing something natural and ordinary in nature and not just the most strikingly beautiful roadside landmark scenery you can find. I appreciate that the colors are real and subtle too.
