March Photo Tour Results – Stephane Hachey

Hovering– ISO 100, 200mm f/22 5 Seconds, D300S 70 to 200mm VR2 with Singh-Ray light warming polarizer and 5 stop ND filter.

Ice– ISO 100, 14mm f/16 1/4s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm with a 2 stop hard grad.

Lost at Sea– ISO 100, 340mm(510 equivalent) f8 1/640s, D300S with 70 to 200VR2 and TC3 2x tele extender to compress the scene. This is my absolute favourite from the trip.

Inukshuk– ISO100, 11mm f16 1/80s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens and a touch of craziness for “boulder hopping” to get the shot.

Symmetry (behind the infamous Glory Hole)- ISO 100, 14mm f18 2.5s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens, Singh-Ray LB warming polarizer and 3-stop hard-grad.

Starburst– ISO 100, 15mm f22 0.4s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens hand held while crouching with no filters.

  4. Thank you for all the nice comments! I had a blast on Darwin’s tour and will definitely be returning for another one. I highly recommend signing up for one if you want to see all the great “out of the way” locations. The food alone is worth the price.
