Below are the results of the March 2011, Winter Photo Tour from Stephane. We’ll forgive Stephane for submitting these photos a little late because Stephane is now a proud papa!! Check out Stephane’s blog where you can see day-by-day coverage of the winter photo tour and much much more!
Hovering– ISO 100, 200mm f/22 5 Seconds, D300S 70 to 200mm VR2 with Singh-Ray light warming polarizer and 5 stop ND filter.
Ice– ISO 100, 14mm f/16 1/4s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm with a 2 stop hard grad.
Lost at Sea– ISO 100, 340mm(510 equivalent) f8 1/640s, D300S with 70 to 200VR2 and TC3 2x tele extender to compress the scene. This is my absolute favourite from the trip.
Inukshuk– ISO100, 11mm f16 1/80s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens and a touch of craziness for “boulder hopping” to get the shot.
Symmetry (behind the infamous Glory Hole)- ISO 100, 14mm f18 2.5s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens, Singh-Ray LB warming polarizer and 3-stop hard-grad.
Starburst– ISO 100, 15mm f22 0.4s, D300S with Tokina 11 to 16mm lens hand held while crouching with no filters.
