Fabulous Film Fridays – August 5, 2011

The image below was taken with Bop, my plastic-lens Holga. In direct back light Bop suffers a lot from lens flare but in this case I really liked the crazy rainbow-coloured flare from the sun. This image was taken in the town of Lac La Biche on an early morning dog walk. The film was Fujicolor NPS 160 print film.

  1. Really cool, indeed!

  2. Works for me! Excellent!

  3. This is like guitarists who discovered overdriven and feedback sound long before Jimi appeared. Great artists have open mind to accidents (or is this intentional, Darwin?) It is always exciting to see what is happening on film. I like the overlapped circles (spider nest and the flare) in the center of the frame.

  4. A fine web you’ve spun! No, wait, a Holga… The spider wins!😉
